Tough review to write because the monument was closed on the day we climbed the hill, due to the excessive heat. The Visitor's center also closed shortly after our arrival, which seemed odd since it … Full review by Arthur G

Since I love history, this was a great site to visit, despite the rain and cold weather. A must see along the Freedom Trail. Full review by Stephen S
We are hoping to start at Bunker Hill and work backward on The Freedom Trail. If I take the T to the community college stop, map quest says that it's a 13 minute walk to Bunker Hill. However, it looks like a highway is in the way ... is that the best way to get there if that's where we want to start or is there a better way to travel there? Thanks!!!

The monument is 294 steps. Assuming you and your party are in reasonably good health the round-trip is under 30 minutes - it will depend on how much time you want to spend enjoying the view from the top! I have never toured the museum, but there are restrooms inside - always good to know where the restrooms are located!
