This beach is wide and windy but provides fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Seems to be popular with the locals and kite surfers. Full review by KatielouAustralia

Yes, miles and miles of clean sandy beach , lovely spot. Deckchairs and umbrellas can be hired. Toilets ( with small charge) dotted along the wide foot path that runs along the shore line. We were told it was windy in Essaouira, but we did experience any during our stay in mid February ( temp was 20 degrees lovely balmy days)

We just came today and kids were playing on the sand wanted to rinse them of at the showers and was told there is charge. As far as I know from other beaches in the world outside showers are free for the public. Anyone know better?
