You buy the tickets from a general ticket office and basically go on one of the available boats. We had a lovely guide who was friendly and explained everything very nicely. It's possible that one of the guides is less friendly but when we were there everyone came off the various boats smiling and happy so it seems they are nice. All I can say is it's worth the trip.
