OXFORD — Mississippi State basketball completed the regular season sweep of Ole Mis s. The Bulldogs beat No. 23 Ole Miss 81-71 on Saturday in the sold-out Sandy and John Black Pavilion. It is Mississippi State's second win over the Rebels this season.

R.J. Melendez had 17 points to lead No. 22 Mississippi State’s balanced offense for an 81-71 win over No. 19 Mississippi and a season sweep of its in-state rival.

No. 21 Mississippi State trailed at the half, but dominated in the 2nd half to beat No. 7 Texas A&M by double digits.
