A picture released by the California Highway Patrol South Sacramento division shows the big rig blocking multiple eastbound lanes on the freeway just east of Howe Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s South Sacramento office, the two left lanes of eastbound Highway 50, east of Howe Avenue, have been closed for repairs to the traffic barrier, while lanes 3 through 5 remain open.
