Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said in his closing remarks of the season that “it was a good year, but not good enough in my mind.” His team had won the AFC South and a playoff game for the second year in a row.

While the Texans welcome new offensive coordinator Nick Caley with open arms, the decision to fire Bobby Slowik was hard for DeMeco Ryans.

DeMeco Ryans is excited to have former Rams assistant Nick Caley as his new OC, believing he’ll get the Texans “over the hump.”
