Despite winning AL MVP with the Chicago White Sox, Dick Allen will go into the Hall of Fame as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies this summer.

The Baseball Hall of Fame chooses which cap a player will wear on his plaque, though the inductee has input, and many have opted for a blank cap.

CC Sabathia ’s Hall of Fame plaque will feature a cap with an interlocking NY insignia. As if there were any doubt, the Hall of Fame officially announced that the left-hander will be enshrined as a member of the Yankees when the Class of 2025 is inducted on July 27.
