Several school districts in central Ohio canceled classes or delayed start times Thursday morning because of icy conditions. Most central Ohio counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory after freezing rain moved through the area,

National Weather Service forecasters Wednesday set down a Winter Weather Advisory covering almost the entire state, warning of slippery road conditions during the morning and evening commutes. Snowfall is expected to begin between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Thursday, before the precipitation shifts to ice and rain in the afternoon.

SUNY Broome: Delayed opening. Offices will open at 11 a.m. and classes beginning before 11 a.m. will not meet.
