The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to a grass fire on Sunday afternoon in Colorado Springs near I-25 and S Tejon Street.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to the grass fire at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of Interstate 25 and South Tejon Street.

CSFD said they learned the fire was caused by embers from a grill spreading to grass and bushes. A group was reportedly cooking in a charcoal grill under a pavilion when high wind
