The Great Aldi Conversion has slowed down a bit. The discount grocery chain is selling the Winn-Dixie, Harveys stores it bought less than a year ago.

The new owners of Winn-Dixie include a New Hampshire-based wholesale grocery company. Winn-Dixie and Aldi each now have eight stores in Brevard.

The discount grocer will convert roughly 220 Winn-Dixie and Harvey's Supermarket stores to its brand by 2027 while selling another 170 locations.

When Aldi announced its plans to purchase Southeastern Grocers, the fast-growing supermarket chain said it would convert many of the Winn-Dixie and Harveys stores.
