The showdown between second-ranked South Carolina and fifth-ranked LSU featured the last two national champions and two of the best teams in the country this season. It also showcased two of the most stylish coaches — fashion wise — in the women’s game in the Gamecocks’ Dawn Staley and the Tigers’ Kim Mulkey.

It has been more than two months since South Carolina has garnered more than a single No. 1 overall vote in the AP ballots. But come Monday, don’t be surprised if the Gamecocks gain ground on No. 1 UCLA, the only team to defeat SC so far this season.
