Super Bowl LIX opened with a bang. Before the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles hit the field at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday (Feb. 9), Lady Gaga performed her Top Gun tune "Hold My Hand" surrounded by rapt revelers on the city's infamous Bourbon Street.

As Super Bowl LIX prepared to kick off in New Orleans, Lady Gaga serenaded the French Quarter. Donned in all white, the 2x Grammy winner sat at a piano on a stage in the middle of the street as she performed her single ‘Hold My Hand’ from the soundtrack of Top Gun: Maverick (2022).

Feb. 9, Lady Gaga delivered a surprise performance of 'Hold My Hand' on Bourbon Street in honor of the New Orleans terror attack and the Los Angeles fires. The song was featured on the 2022 soundtrack for 'Top Gun: Maverick.
