Sedgwick Co. Sheriff’s Office identifies man who died at Textron Aviation
The sheriff’s office said it’s investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death with assistance from Sedgwick County District 1 and the county coroner’s office.
Textron Aviation who died while on the job at east Wichita facility identified
A 61-year-old employee at Textron Aviation died while on the job Monday afternoon. The man, whose identity was not immediately released, was from Wichita, Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Branden Stitt said in a phone call.

Upon arrival, firefighters and EMS personnel found a 61-year-old man in a facility paint booth, wearing a ventilator mask and not breathing. Life-saving measures were attempted but were unsuccessful. The man was pronounced dead at 12:28 p.m. On Tuesday, he was identified as Rocky Baldwin of Wichita.
