George Bush Intercontinental Airport is back in full swing after Tuesday’s winter storm caused a city-wide shutdown of air travel.
The Terminal B lobby at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) will temporarily close on Jan. 21, marking a significant milestone in United Airlines ’ $2.5 billion project to redevelop the terminal. The lobby is expected to reopen in 2026, according to a Houston Airport System press release.
The Bush Airport’s terminal lobbies are used for check-in, TSA security and baggage claim. These operations for Terminal B flights will be redirected to Terminal C, according to the Houston Airport System.
