Delta Flight 876 was on its way to Columbia, South Carolina, when "haze inside the aircraft was observed," a Delta spokesperson reportedly said.

A Delta Air Lines jet made an emergency landing in Atlanta Monday morning, evacuating passengers via slides on the runway, after haze or smoke filled the cabin, airline and federal officials said.

This marks the second smoke-related issue to impact a Delta flight within a week, just two days after an Australia-bound flight returned to Los Angeles due to smoke on the plane.
