The Denver Nuggets received two important updates on Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray ahead of Friday's matchup with the Heat.

Starters for the 2025 NBA All-Star game were announced on Thursday night and the Denver Nuggets superstar center Nikola Jokić was named as a frontcourt starter for the Western Conference.

The Nuggets have a number of players listed on the NBA injury report for Tuesday night's game against the Mavericks.

For much of the first half of the season, Nikola Jokic was going crazy. His statistical production and consistency were insane, and the burden he was carrying matched that level. Jokic was one half of a dynamic duo, but Jamal Murray too a while to get there.

Nikola Jokić has been out for two straight games and is questionable Friday against the Brooklyn Nets. With him missing time this season, it has been a huge question as to what Denver Nuggets team will show up.

Jamal Murray led the way for Denver, scoring 45 points and dishing out six assists. While Murray’s performance was a great once, Nikola Jokić stole the show as he made NBA history in the game.

Jokic leads the NBA with 18 triple-doubles this season. He has now secured 13 of those triple-doubles before the fourth quarter. That means Jokic has more triple-doubles in three quarters than any other team has in four quarters.

Jamal Murray ignited for 45 points against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. His incredible performance was his first game scoring 40 or more since Game 2 of the first round of the 2022-23 playoffs.

If Murray can build off his performance on Tuesday, the Nuggets will be a tough team to contend with in the playoffs.

The Denver Nuggets defeated the Sacramento Kings 132-123, winning their fourth game in a row and 12th in their last 15 games. The Kings were 10-1 in their previous 11, and this ended up being a very hard fought victory that the Nuggets earned.

The Nuggets played well for three quarters, then let the Kings, who were playing on a second-straight night, back in the game late because of poor defense before closing the deal. Nikola Jokić recorded his 20th triple-double of the year and 14th before the fourth quarter.
