Political activists in Germany projected an image of Elon Musk's infamous raised-arm salute and the word "Heil" onto the outside of his Tesla plant.

The Tesla factory in Germany, one of the biggest foreign investments in German manufacturing in years and the company’s only European plant, has frequently been the site of protests.

“Musk is using his wealth from Tesla to back far-right parties and degrade democracy,” a spokesperson for the activist group, Led By Donkeys, told a local news agency. “He shouldn’t be surprised if people don’t fancy driving round in his cars for much longer.” The group’s German counterparts are called Centre for Political Beauty.

The two groups are Led By Donkeys from the UK and the Center for Political Beauty from Germany. The pair teamed up and projected Musk’s gesture with the word “Heil” onto Tesla Giga Berlin. The resulting image appears to show Musk on the left side of the building and the signage reads “Heil Tesla” in the car company’s signature font.
