A Texas lottery player has cashed in big-time after winning $2 million from Mega Millions. The winner, who lives in Grand Prairie, bought the winning ticket from Ballpark Beverage, at 2100 E. Lamar Blvd.

Fourteen lottery players in New Jersey won $10,000 or more last week playing Powerball, Mega Millions and New Jersey Lottery games.

The most recent big Mega Millions winner was a lucky lottery ticketholder in Arizona, who struck gold on Jan. 18, winning a $113 million jackpot. According to the lottery, only four tickets matched all six Mega Millions numbers in 2024 – the fewest jackpots won in a calendar year since the game began in 2002.

The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has climbed to an estimated $59 million with a cash option of $26.6 million. The winning numbers were: 9, 28, 48, 56 and 63. The Mega Ball drawn was 2 with a Megaplier was of 2X.

A North Texas resident won $2 million in a Mega Millions prize drawing on Jan. 24, according to the Texas Lottery. The winner, who lives in Grand Prairie, chose to remain anonymous. The ticket was sold at Ballpark Beverage, a convenience store at 2100 E. Lamar Blvd. in Arlington.
