Bill sponsors decried spending in Idaho elections from outside the state, and outdated campaign finance reporting laws.
Idaho Gov. Brad Little will soon have the final say over whether a bill prohibiting government and school mask mandates to fight the spread of infectious disease will become law.
Senator Brian Lenney, who introduced the bill, said, "My body, my choice." The bill now goes to Governor Brad Little's desk.
Several bills were proposed in part of out-of-state money that had been flooded into the state during the election.
