Jalen Brunson, KAT are first Knicks’ duo to start in All-Star Game in 50 years
Jalen Brunson, who was born in New Brunswick and was snubbed as a starter last year, will start in the backcourt, while Piscataway native and former St. Joe’s-Metuchen big man Karl-Anthony Towns will start in the frontcourt. The game is set for Feb. 16 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
NBA All-Star Game will feature an innovative tournament-style format with four teams competing in a series of three games.

Brunson shot a hyper-efficient 12-of-18 from the field, 3-of-5 from three-point range, and 7-of-11 from the free-throw line.
