Tyrese Maxey had a big night with 31 points and nine assists to lead Philadelphia, Kelly Oubre Jr. had 22 points and 12 rebounds, and George had nine points before leaving with the injury. Reggie Jackson had 12 off the bench, Eric Gordon had 13, and Adem Bona had four and seven rebounds.

Even with guard-heavy, smaller lineups, the Sixers were fine on the defensive boards in the first half. Kelly Oubre Jr. had a second straight double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Fantastic back-to-back for Oubre.

Coach Nick Nurse gives an injury update on Paul George after the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.

George has dealt with left knee and groin injuries in his first season since signing a four-year, $212 million contract to join the Sixers. He’s missed 14 games. In the 29 he played before Saturday, George averaged 17.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists.
