It looks like Footprint Center’s current moniker is getting the boot after just four years. That’s because the 17,071-seat arena in downtown Phoenix is reportedly undergoing another name change. Work crews were seen removing Footprint Center signage from the venue — the longtime home of the Phoenix Suns and Mercury — on Sunday and Monday.

The building's not going anywhere, but workers were seen removing the name signage from the front of the arena Tuesday morning. 12News reporter Troy Lynch was told that all of the name signs were coming down. The reason for the removal wasn't immediately clear.
