The inclusion of the Black national anthem at last year's Super Bowl made Donald Trump's supporters and allies furious.

The Super Bowl is just a few days away, this year being held in New Orleans-- and a native of the Big Easy will have a place in the spotlight during the pregame ceremonies. Ledisi, a Grammy-winning jazz and soul artist who was born in New Orleans and spent much of her childhood growing up there,

Trump is reportedly slated to attend, and if he does, he will get to hear the playing of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” prior to kick. Grammy Award-winning artist, Ledisi, is slated to sing the song, which is often called the Black National Anthem.
