CALIFORNIA, USA — A California lawmaker is proposing to make Bigfoot the state’s official mythical creature. On Feb. 14, Assemblyman Chris Rogers (D-Santa Rosa) introduced Assembly Bill 666, which would designate the mystical creature as the official state cryptid.
Voters have to wait until 2026 to cast their ballots and decide the next governor of California. Gov. Gavin Newsom won't be among the candidates.
