In Hampton Roads, the advisory is from 9 a.m. Sunday until 7 p.m., the National Weather Service announced. The strongest winds will be late morning through mid-afternoon, officials said. Wind gusts of 40 to 55 mph are expected, with stronger gusts up to 65 mph possible, the weather service said.

Hampton Roads saw bits of snow flurries Tuesday morning that have since transitioned into rain. Norfolk and other areas in the Southside saw flurries, while the Eastern Shore, Middle Peninsula, and Northern Neck were expected to see the highest impacts.
