Jamesia Brichae Pruitt was arrested in the Jan. 31 death of her 4-month-old son, Nehemiah Pruitt, police said.

Steven Fike, 67, previously pleaded not guilty to the killing of 19-year-old Wendy Dansereau at his arraignment in 2022, according to court records. He is now expected to plead guilty at a March 12 hearing in Suffolk Superior Court, the statement said.

Steven Fike, 67, who is serving a life sentence in Alabama state prison, will have a change of plea hearing on March 12 in Suffolk Superior Court in Boston. He previously pleaded not guilty to killing 19-year-old Wendy Dansereau at a Boston hotel.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they reportedly found the woman's son holding a hammer. Investigators believe he may have used it to kill his mother.
