The BJP is set to form its government in Delhi with a "thumping majority" and start working for the all-round progress of the city, the party asserted on Thursday while claiming that people were "angry" with the ruling AAP and its national convenor Arvind Kejriwal.

With most exit polls predicting that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will win Delhi assembly elections, BJP leaders expressed confidence of the party's triumph after counting of votes on February 8 and said the they will perform better than predictions.

Delhi recorded 57.89 per cent voter turnout in the assembly polls on Wednesday amid charges of malpractices including money distribution and fake voting by both AAP and BJP who are engaged in an intense battle to decide who rules the national capital.
