Jeep’s parent company Stellantis has become well-known over the last decade for using its Super Bowl commercials to send larger messages about unity and patriotism. This year’s surprise ad starring Harrison Ford followed a similar theme.

Surprisingly, this year’s Super Bowl did not air many car commercials. The annual Super Bowl is perhaps the most ‘American’ event of the year, and typically American-made cars dominate the advertising airtime. However this year, we only saw a couple of automotive promotions.
