As temperatures plummet, Washington County has activated inclement weather shelters to provide refuge for those in need.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly threatening a woman with a BB gun on a MAX train in northeast Portland on Friday evening, according to PPB.
Starting at 5 p.m., shelters will open and stay open until the end of the severe weather. No one will be turned away from the winter shelters and guests will be given hot meals, the county said.
