Lady Jessica of the Atreides (10154 AG - 10256 AG) was the bound concubine of Duke Leto Atreides and the mother of Emperor Paul-Muad'Dib Atreides. An integral figure in her son's rise to power, she became a Reverend Mother of both the Fremen tribes and Bene Gesserit Sisterhood.

By the time of Dune Messiah (1969), Jessica has returned to Caladan, the ancestral home of the Atreides. She has also, by some accounts, returned to the Sisterhood following the death of her Duke, and while she cannot influence Paul, she does act as distant counselor.

In Dune (2021 film), Jessica is the concubine of Duke Leto Atreides and the mother of Paul Atreides. She plays a crucial role in training her son, Paul, in the ways of the Bene Gesserit, preparing him for his destiny.
