Jul 25, 2009 · My CA 27-29 scores have been within the average range for the past two and a half years...and the original oncologist I went to during the throes of diagnosis blurted out, "Oh, this isn't nearly as bad as we thought it was!" as a result of that test. Wrong, wrong, wrong dude...it was as bad and worse with mets all over the place (all bones).

Jun 22, 2024 · I can imagine that you are completely beside yourself. I want you to know that the result of a single CA 27-29 test is in itself not a reliable indicator that cancer has returned. A sudden rise in CA 27.29 levels may occur for reasons other than breast cancer, including non-cancerous contributors like inflammation.

Apr 7, 2010 · I'm really need to educate myself on this... and I have tried but all that I know is that the normal range of the CA 15.3 is 0-31.4. and the normal for the CA27.29 is 0 - 38. My latest on the CA 15.3 is 171.5 and my latest on the CA 27.29 is 322.3. I have them plotted on a graph.

Jul 1, 2019 · My ca 27.29 are elevated to 40. I was diagnosed with stage 1, grade 3 breast cancer in Sept 2019. Had lumpectomy with no lymph node involvement. had radiation treatments. my tumor markers bounce from 40 down to low 30"s. the cancer center that my oncologist is affiliated with does this blood draw every six months.

Jun 6, 2023 · My CA 27.29 was high after my breast cancer. Finally, my oncologist suggested I return to the surgeon, who prescribed breast physical therapy. After about 6 months of therapy, where I did breast massage twice a day, my CA 27.29 returned to the normal range. This post is merely a suggestion as to some possible things to do.
