Sep 23, 2022 · The only control button that the One has over the Live 2 that you actually really use is a dedicated Program Edit button. The lack of this button was never really an issue on the Live 2 though because you could always use a Menu + Pad shortcut to get there. Which basically goes for all the controls the Live 2 doesn't have over the One.

Dec 18, 2021 · The MPC Live was discontinued, so you ether buy MPC Live 2 or some other model, i have MPC Live, and im working with 2.11 software, it just lacks the built in monitor-that the 2 has, anyhow, if you can choose, buy the 2, unless there is a huge price difference

Dec 15, 2020 · Does anyone with an MPC Live 2 know if it use an SD card larger than 32GB, and if so, what the upper limit is? I saw on the Akai site that the MPC Live 2 maxxed out at 32GB for SD cards (which seemed pretty small). I know from previous experiences that manufacturers with often cite a smaller capacity than is actually usable in real world use.

Oct 4, 2022 · MPC Live 2 has USB 3, and the hard drive itself is connected to the motherboard via SATA. Internal memory on the MPC is just an SD card. There are some pretty fast SD cards available - it’s all relative.

As for the audio outputs on your Live, you will be fine with the 4 TRS outputs which are all high quality. The Stereo outptuts (1 and 2), you will usually skip since it ends up possibly having metronome and any sound you have not manually routed yet.

Feb 4, 2022 · Just buy a 240GB SSD, any brand will do. Install once and never look back. They're dirt cheap (as cheap as an SD card really) and offer plenty enough sample space for the average MPC user. They offer the best performance as well. The best part is that your computer will instantly recognize the SSD drive if you connect the Live 2 with the USB cable.
